• Fredericksburg, VA, Salary Range: Undisclosed, Safford VW of Fredericksburg is seeking an Automotive Technician to join our team in Fredericksburg VA. This position is responsible for performing preventative maintenance and repairs on vehicles. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is organized and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment!

Responsibilities

-Communicate with customers and perform work on their vehicles -Communicate with Service Manager or Service Advisors regarding any issues with the work performed -Maintain records of the work performed and the condition of the vehicle(s) -Maintain the work area, equipment, and tools used for the work -Complete all paperwork in a timely manner -Report any equipment or material shortages to management Qualifications: -High School Diploma or GED Required -Trade school or automotive apprenticeship preferred -Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record -Ability to pass a drug test and background check Job Type: Full-time Benefits: 401(k) Employee discount Health insurance On-the-job training Paid training Professional development assistance Tuition reimbursement Experience level: 1 year Qualifications:
