Turf - Operator

Description I. Position Operator II. Classification Part-Time Seasonal, Hourly, Non-Exempt III. Primary Responsibilities Under direct supervision from the Grounds Management Team he or she will be responsible for the operation of mechanical equipment including but not limited to: Various turf mowers Tractors and tractor implements Heavy machinery such as skid steers and mini excavators Dump trucks Requirements IV.

Reports to: Grounds Management team V. Special Requirements: He or she must have a valid Drivers License He or she must have reliable transportation to and from work Requires ability to safely operate trucks and motorized equipment VI. Working Conditions/Physical Requirements: Operators will be required to: Work extended hours, which includes weekend and holiday shifts Work outside in all weather conditions Work on or near heavy machinery Stand for extended periods of time Lift a minimum of 50 pounds on a regular basis Do repetitive tasks with few breaks Complete tasks in a timely manner
