We are looking to add Hosts/Hostesses to our team.

The Host/Hostess serves as the first and last impression for guests dining at our upscale beachfront resort restaurant. This position is responsible for providing a warm, welcoming, and memorable arrival experience while managing reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to ensure exceptional service standards. The ideal candidate possesses a polished professional appearance, outstanding communication skills, and a genuine passion for hospitality.

Working closely with restaurant leadership and service staff, the Host/Hostess ensures efficient seating operations, accommodates guest requests whenever possible, and maintains a positive, guest-focused environment that reflects the luxury standards of the resort. This role requires the ability to remain composed in a fast-paced setting, anticipate guest needs, and deliver personalized service that enhances the overall dining experience.

Responsibilities:

• Greeting guests in a friendly and inviting manner
• Take reservations with the restaurant reservation system
• Engaging in friendly conversation as you seat guests in a timely fashion
• Managing restaurant waiting list during high volume to accurately set waiting time quotes for guests
• Manage inventory of tables available
• Always sincerely thanking guests as they leave and inviting them to return
• Other reasonable duties as assigned
• Communicate with wait staff and supervisors regarding availability of tables
• Communicate with supervisor any complaints or compliments
• Adhere to the rules and regulations of the company as defined in the employee handbook
• Always wear appropriate uniform provided by company policy

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma/GED a plus but not required
• Previous experience a plus
• Must have courteous phone skills and the ability to take accurate messages
