Customer Service Agent, Pier Staff

Intercruises, a TUI Musement company, delivers shoreside and port services for the world’s leading cruise lines across North America. On ship days, our Pier Staff are the first people guests meet. • Welcome guests at the terminal, answer questions and give clear directions
• Keep guest lines organized and moving through check-in and security
• Support check-in on cruise line tablets and systems, including reviewing ID and travel documents
• Guide arriving guests to luggage, tour buses, shuttles, taxis and rideshare
• Help guests who need extra assistance, including families, older travellers and guests with disabilities
• Follow safety and security procedures set by the port and cruise line WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR MUST HAVE
• 18 years of age or older
• Customer service experience in hospitality, retail, restaurant, travel, events or a similar field
• Fluent English, spoken and written
• Comfortable using tablets and smartphones
• Available early mornings and weekends; holidays a plus
• Reliable transportation to the port
• Able to pass a background check and obtain port credentials, including TWIC or port ID where required NICE TO HAVE
• Cruise, airport, hotel or tourism experience
• A second language, especially Spanish, Portuguese, German, French or Italian YOU’LL DO WELL HERE IF YOU ARE
• Friendly and patient with every guest
• Punctual and detail-oriented
• Calm when the terminal gets busy
• Comfortable being on your feet for most of the shift, indoors and outdoors on the pier, in all weather conditions
• Able to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
