QA Tech I

Responsible for monitors and/or verifies food safety and quality of products and processes per company guidelines. The QA Tech enforces employee GMPs and safety practices as well as monitors sanitation and the condition of equipment and facility. Also, performs other tasks as necessary to safeguard the interest of the Raybern Quality Foods.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor and/or verify HACCP Plan and CCP’s SQF responsibilities including but not limited to documentation, inspections, auditing, validation and verification of processes, standards, work instructions, SOP’s, specifications, policies and practices Perform quality testing on finished products to ensure compliance to standards, and specifications Monitor equipment and facility sanitation Monitor and enforces employee GMP practices Monitor and enforces food safety and quality of incoming goods Verify formulations and production processes Retain product and/or product samples Ensure label accuracy Assist with employee training and evaluates training effectiveness Assist with the monitoring of pest control and pest control contractor Monitor food defense Create, maintain and file documentation on all activities Assists R&D on product samples, formulations and pilot runs Communicates with appropriate stakeholders and helps to resolve non-compliance activities Responsible for chemical, physical, sensory testing and maintenance of lab equipment Please note this job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
