Human Resources Business Partner
Job description
Shape the future of people at the Old Course Hotel. With the implementation of Workday in 2027 and preparations for The Open's return to St Andrews, there has never been a more exciting time to join the Human Resources team at the award-winning Old Course Hotel. Reporting to the HR Manager and working as part of a collaborative team of five HR professionals, you'll be a trusted advisor to leaders across the Hotel, helping shape people decisions, strengthen management capability and create an exceptional associate experience.
From employee relations and organisational change to talent development, workforce planning and digital transformation, you'll play a key role in driving business success through people. If you're looking for a role where you can influence, challenge, coach and make a genuine difference every day, we'd love to hear from you.
About Us
At the heart of the world's greatest golfing destination, the Old Course Hotel is an AA 5 Red Star luxury hotel renowned for exceptional hospitality and memorable guest experiences. Part of Kohler Company, our people are at the heart of everything we do. We believe exceptional guest experiences start with exceptional associate experiences, which is why we're committed to investing in our people, supporting career development and creating an inclusive workplace where everyone can thrive.
We believe in recognising potential, developing talent and creating opportunities for our associates to grow. Whether you're looking to deepen your expertise, broaden your experience or take the next step in your career, you'll have access to a wide range of learning and development opportunities, supported by a committed leadership team and a culture that encourages growth from within.
About the Role
This is a key role within our Human Resources team, providing professional and commercially focused people support across a range of departments throughout the Hotel. Working closely with Heads of Department and managers, you'll build trusted relationships and support all aspects of the employee lifecycle. You'll provide expert advice on employee relations matters, coach managers, support organisational change, champion engagement and wellbeing initiatives, and help drive our people strategy forward.
As the Hotel transitions to Workday in January 2027, you'll play an important role in embedding new ways of working, supporting managers through change and helping maximise the benefits of our new HR systems and processes.
