Position Summary

We are looking for a Systems Administrator to join our Infrastructure team and support highly available, business-critical environments. This role has a strong focus on F5 BIG-IP application delivery and Imperva Web Application Firewall (WAF) , along with hands-on administration and support of Microsoft Windows Server and VMware v.

Sphere environments. The ideal candidate is a strong troubleshooter who can understand the complete application-delivery path, identify where issues are occurring, and collaborate effectively with Infrastructure, Network, Security, Database, and Application teams.

Key Responsibilities

Administer and troubleshoot F5 BIG-IP/LTM , including virtual servers, pools, health monitors, profiles, persistence, i. Rules, SSL/TLS, and certificates. Administer and support Imperva WAF , including application onboarding, security policies, troubleshooting blocked requests and false positives, and policy tuning. Troubleshoot application traffic across DNS, WAF, firewalls, load balancers, web/application servers, and backend services .

Administer and troubleshoot Microsoft Windows Server , including Active Directory-integrated environments, IIS, DNS, certificates, services, and permissions. Windows Server Administration, support VMware v. Sphere, v. Center, ESXi, HA, DRS, v. Motion, virtual machines, and clusters . Support production incidents, root-cause analysis, vulnerability remediation, patching, upgrades, and infrastructure changes.

Participate in disaster recovery, failover testing, infrastructure monitoring, and capacity management. Create and maintain technical documentation, diagrams, runbooks, and recovery procedures. Collaborate with Security, Network, Application, and Database teams to resolve complex infrastructure and application-delivery issues.

Participate in an on-call rotation as required. Required Qualifications 3–5+ years of Systems Administration or Infrastructure Engineering experience. F5 and Imperva responsibilities make application delivery, web security, certificates, DNS/network troubleshooting, and escalation skills important parts of the role. Hands-on experience administering and troubleshooting F5 BIG-IP/LTM .

Experience with Imperva WAF or comparable enterprise Web Application Firewall technologies. Strong Microsoft Windows Server administration experience. Experience administering VMware v. Sphere environments. Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS, SSL/TLS, certificates, and load balancing , network protocols and connectivity Experience troubleshooting multi-tier enterprise applications.

Disaster Recovery and Business continuity. Strong troubleshooting, documentation, communication, and ownership skills. Experience HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC 2, ISO 27001, or similar regulatory and security requirements is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with F5 i. Rules and Imperva Cloud WAF . Experience with Microsoft IIS and Power. Shell . Experience with VMware HA, DRS, v. Motion, and infrastructure lifecycle management. Experience with monitoring, vulnerability management, backup, and disaster-recovery technologies. Experience supporting highly available or regulated environments.

F5, VMware, Microsoft, or security-related certifications are a plus. Core Competencies Technical Troubleshooting : Able to systematically isolate problems across network, security, application-delivery, virtualization, operating-system, and application layers. Application Delivery : Understands how enterprise applications traverse DNS, WAF, firewalls, load balancers, web servers, and backend services.

Security Awareness : Understands the security implications of infrastructure changes and balances application availability with appropriate security controls. Ownership : Takes responsibility for technical issues through resolution rather than simply transferring problems between teams. Change Discipline : Plans, documents, tests, and validates production changes and maintains appropriate rollback procedures.

Communication: Clearly communicates technical issues, risks, outages, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Continuous Improvement: Identifies opportunities to automate repetitive activities, eliminate recurring incidents, improve documentation, and increase infrastructure reliability.
