Assistant Beverage Manager

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are: To serve our guests in accordance with Minor Hotels standards of food and beverage quality, presentation and sanitation, in a gracious and professional manner.

Supervise and support beverage service teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations. Maintain high standards of guest service and ensure guest satisfaction. Monitor beverage quality, presentation, and service standards. Assist with staff scheduling, training, coaching, and performance management. Monitor beverage inventory, stock levels, requisitions, and monthly stocktaking.

Control beverage costs and minimize wastage and unnecessary expenses. Ensure compliance with company policies, hygiene standards, and health and safety requirements. Coordinate with Kitchen, Food & Beverage, Finance, Purchasing, and other departments as required. Handle guest feedback and resolve service-related issues professionally.

Assist in developing beverage menus, promotions, and special events. Monitor sales performance and support initiatives to achieve revenue targets. Ensure all equipment, bar areas, and storage areas are clean, organized, and properly maintained. Prepare operational reports and provide feedback to the Beverage Manager. Not the right fit?
