Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) to join our dynamic team. The EMT will provide high-quality emergency medical care to patients in various settings, including pre-hospital environments. This role requires quick thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively under pressure.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of emergency protocols and possess the necessary skills to assess and treat patients in critical situations.

Responsibilities

Respond promptly to emergency calls and provide immediate medical assistance to patients. Conduct thorough assessments of patients' conditions, including taking vital signs and performing physical examinations. Administer basic life support and triage patients based on their medical needs. Utilize durable medical equipment (DME) effectively during patient transport and treatment.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient care activities and communicate findings to receiving medical personnel. Stay current with emergency medical protocols and participate in ongoing training and professional development.

Requirements

Valid EMT certification from an accredited program. Experience in an emergency room (ER) setting is preferred but not mandatory. Strong knowledge of physiology and basic life support techniques. Proficiency in triage processes and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
