RN Emergency Department

Job Summary

The RN is an essential member of the Patient Care Team who is responsible for the delivery of direct and indirect patient care through the nursing process in all areas of the unit. The RN delegates those interventions that may be performed by others, supervises as appropriate, assists in maintaining a safe environment for the rendering of effective nursing care, provides education to patients, and families, and collaborates with other health professionals in the planning and management of health care.

Job Requirements Current Maine RN license required. Basic Life Support (BLS) is required. Graduate of an approved Nursing program is required. 1–3 years previous nursing experience preferred. 1-year of previous experience in mental health nursing preferred Basic Dysrhythmia is preferred or obtained before completion of orientation.

Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training is preferred or obtained before completion of orientation. Responsible, supportive team player. Ability to work well in high-stress situations. Comp Range: $31.84 - $43.85 Rate of pay displayed reflects the beginning of the pay scale. At the time of an offer, determination of your offer will reflect your skills and experience as it relates to the position.
