2027 Summer Associate Program

First Hawaiian Bank invites passionate and driven college students to apply for our 2027 Summer Associate Program! Application Deadline: December 31, 2026 Compensation: The hourly salary for this role is $18.00/hr. Location: Honolulu, Hawaii Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8:00 am - 5:00 pm (Hours may vary) As a Summer Associate at First Hawaiian Bank, you'll gain firsthand exposure to the banking industry through meaningful projects, professional development opportunities, and connections with leaders across the organization.

Minimum Qualifications

Demonstrate and exhibit First Hawaiian Bank’s core values: Caring, Character and Collaboration Applicants must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree with an expected graduation date between May 2027 and June 2029. This internship is intended for students who completed advanced coursework in their major field of study.

Currently enrolled in a four-year or graduate degree program at an accredited college or university Pursuing a relevant degree program Must be available to work 40-hour work weeks between June-August and work on-site on Oahu Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 Eligible to work in the United States The ideal candidate will have: Strong interest in exploring a career in Banking Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Products Demonstrated leadership in a school or community organization A willingness to cooperate collaboratively and work independently on your own initiative Excellent interpersonal skills Demonstrates personal accountability and proven reliability Exceptional organizational skills and strong attention to detail Ability to communicate effectively in both written and verbal communication High standard of professionalism and ability to handle confidential information
