Preventive Maintenance Technician / CMMS Assistant The Mushroom Company | Cambridge, MD Full-Time | Maintenance Department About The Mushroom Company The Mushroom Company is a food manufacturing company located in Cambridge, Maryland. We are looking for a dependable, organized, and detail-oriented PM Technician / CMMS Assistant to join our Maintenance team.

This position plays an important role in keeping our equipment running efficiently by supporting preventive maintenance schedules, tracking work orders, and maintaining accurate maintenance records. What You’ll Do Schedule and track preventive maintenance (PM) work orders. Enter, update, and close work orders in our maintenance management system (CMMS).

Maintain accurate equipment, parts, and maintenance records. Monitor maintenance schedules and follow up on overdue work orders. Support maintenance technicians with work-order documentation. Track parts, materials, labor hours, and maintenance history. Prepare maintenance reports and identify recurring equipment issues.

Assist with updating maintenance procedures and checklists. Coordinate with Maintenance, Operations, Purchasing, and other departments. Follow company safety procedures and maintenance policies. What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED required; technical education is a plus. 1–3 years of experience in maintenance, manufacturing, facilities, CMMS, or related administrative work.

Basic knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance. Experience with CMMS software such as Limble, SAP PM, Maximo, Fiix, or similar systems preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and data entry. Strong organizational and communication skills. Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
