Job Summary

Colusa County Office of Education is recruiting for a Certified Nurse Assistant Instructor to assist in the planning and implementation of an instructional program within the specific subject area, which meets the labor market needs in that industry. Confer with and develop contractual training relationships with the business community.

Develop and coordinate community classrooms and cooperative vocational education partnerships with these agencies. Assess needs of students and utilize appropriate instruction and behavior management methodologies. Comply with all County Office, local, and State requirements.

/ Qualifications CURRENT ASSIGNMENT LOCATION: Education Village SALARY: $18.27 - $45.03 per hour HOURS/DAYS: Hours and days vary per program schedule EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years verifiable full-time experience in the target industry or a combination of part-time and full-time employment to equal five (5) years (1500 hours of employment = 1 year) Three (3) years verifiable full-time experience in a skilled nursing center (1500 hours of employment = 1 year) Related education may be substituted for two years of experience LICENSES & REQUIREMENTS: Possess a valid LVN or RN license for the state of California and be in good standing to practice nursing with such license The successful candidate will be required to provide DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance, TB test clearance, and a valid California driver’s license, as described on complete job description following acceptance of job office.
