Dual Service Technician – Allentown, PA

DUAL SERVICE TECHNICIAN – ALLENTOWN, PA SMART CARE SOLUTIONS About the Role: As a Service Technician, you will become a trusted advisor to your customers by consistently delivering innovative solutions to predict and prevent kitchen equipment failure, contributing to the success of thousands of restaurants, hotels, grocery stores, hospitals and other commercial customers.

What Will Your Day Look Like? Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on commercial foodservice equipment including, but not limited to, refrigeration equipment, cooking equipment, beverage equipment, and dish machines. Demonstrate mechanical aptitude, troubleshooting skills and ability to read diagrams and schematics.

Partner with manufacturers to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Replace parts, recommend system improvements, and deliver excellent customer service. Follow safety protocols, document service work, and stay organized in a fast-paced environment. Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on technical experience (refrigeration, appliance repair, HVAC, military, or similar) EPA Universal Certification required Experience with electronic refrigeration controls and computerized monitoring systems Experience with ice machines and supermarket refrigeration systems Experience with supermarkets, restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, or other commercial facilities Flexibility to participate in on-call rotations (nights and weekends) High school diploma or equivalent HVAC/R certification or technical-school training Possess and maintain all licenses, certifications, and registrations required to service commercial hot-side and cold-side equipment in Pennsylvania Valid state-issued Real ID driver's license with a clean driving history Physical Requirements: Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment, tools, and materials weighing up to 70 pounds regularly and more with assistance when required.

Frequent standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, bending, reaching, and climbing throughout the workday. Ability to work from ladders, rooftops, elevated platforms, and in confined spaces when necessary. Capability to safely use hand tools, power tools, testing equipment, and other service-related equipment. Ability to distinguish colors, read gauges and technical documents, and perform detailed diagnostic work.

Frequent driving to customer locations, which may require extended periods of sitting. Ability to work in hot, cold, wet, or otherwise challenging environmental conditions.
