Courier Student Newspaper Editor, SC2COURRESACT (FA26)

To serve as a staff member for the Courier Student Newspaper and Courier online publication. Ensures newspaper is published on time, within budget, and in accordance with the highest of journalism practices of accuracy. Responsible for the editorial quality of the Courier Student Newspaper in all aspects, including accuracy, reporting, writing, photography, design, and website.

Responsible for ensuring that newspaper deadlines are met. Responsible for maintaining high ethical and journalistic standards, and abiding by state, college and student press laws. Participate in weekly staff meetings. Maintain effective and appropriate communication with other editors and advisor(s). Represent yourself, the Courier Student Newspaper, Student Life, and the College of DuPage in a professional manner at all times.

Volunteer for Student Life events as available. Attend Student Life Living Leadership workshops as available. Always be recruiting new students to the Courier Student Newspaper.
