Delivery Driver

About The Role

As an Interbranch Delivery Driver at Bennetts Car Parts, you will be responsible for the safe, timely, and accurate delivery of car parts and accessories to our branches. You will play a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellent customer service. This position also involves basic warehouse duties, such as picking and packing orders, when not on delivery runs.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 6am – 6pm and alternate Saturdays’ 8.30am – 1pm Key Responsibilities: Deliver car parts and accessories to our branches Load and unload parts, ensuring they are handled carefully and delivered without damage Check deliveries against orders and obtain proof of delivery Maintain accurate delivery records and paperwork Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner Assist in the warehouse when not driving (e.

g., picking, packing, stock checks) Follow route schedules and adapt to traffic or delays when necessary Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any faults or maintenance issues Ensure the delivery vehicle is clean, roadworthy, and complies with legal requirements Requirements: Full UK driving licence Previous delivery or driving experience Good geographical knowledge of the local area Excellent time management and organisational skills Good communication and customer service skills Physically fit – able to lift and carry parts when required Punctual, trustworthy, and able to work independently or as part of a team About Us Bennetts is a third-generation family business, founded in 1954, and built on strong values of value and customer service.
