Purchasing and Stores Area Manager - Texas

Your Job Georgia-Pacific is seeking a self-directed Area Purchasing Manager to support the Corrugated business within Strategic Sourcing & Procurement. This role leads local procurement execution, supports storeroom operations, partners with Operations and functional teams, and drives procurement best practices across assigned Corrugated facilities.

The ideal candidate brings strategic and tactical purchasing, stores, inventory, and supply chain experience; works with urgency; solves problems; and collaborates across disciplines to meet Operation’s needs. This role creates value by strengthening partnerships, improving procurement processes, supporting transformation, and optimizing total cost of ownership.

This site-based role may sit at one of the assigned Corrugated facilities: Waxahachie, TX Denton. TX Travel between supported locations, including 20% possible overnight travel, is expected.
