Physical Therapy Assistant, AAMC, Resource Pool

Monday-Sunday as needed. Hours vary. Under general supervision of a physical therapist, the physical therapy assistant is required to treat individuals, of all ages, suffering from disabilities due to injury or illness by the use of therapeutic exercises, physical modalities, and education as prescribed by a physician. Monitors patients' response and progress, modifying the treatment plan according to supervising physical therapist's direction and documents same on medical record.
