Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer | Alexandria, VA | PRN | Weekdays Only. Fairfax Radiology Centers — the largest radiology practice in Northern Virginia — is seeking a PRN Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer to join our team at our Alexandria Imaging Center.In this role, you are the steady, reassuring presence for patients when they need it most.

This is a prn position with a flexible weekday schedule:Hours: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PMNo weekends, evenings, major holidays, or call. Free on-site parking available. What You’ll Do.

Perform high-quality general ultrasound examinations, including:OB (1st trimester)GYNAbdominal. Small parts. Breast ultrasound experience is a plus, but not required. Consistently acquire and evaluate high-quality images for diagnostic accuracy. Communicate effectively with radiologists regarding exam findings. Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care with professionalism and empathy.

What You’ll Bring1+ year of experience in general ultrasound preferredRDMS certification required upon hire. Current BLS certification. Strong interpersonal skills with a patient-first mindset. Placement within the range is determined by factors including experience, education, certifications, and internal equity.
