Wine Cellar Retail Sales Assistant

In 2025, we expanded internationally with the opening of Maxime’s, alongside a new Birley Bakery in New York City. We are currently seeking a Retail Sales Assistant to join our Wine Cellar team at Oswald’s. Why work with us as a Retail Sales Assistant? Salary of £30,000 per annum + service charge. 28 days holiday per year (including bank holidays).

What you will do

Provide outstanding customer service to members and guests. Support wine sales and promote the club's Cellar wines. Manage member wine requests, collections, and deliveries. Receive, check, and process wine deliveries. Maintain an organised and efficient cellar environment. Build strong relationships with members and deliver a personalised experience.

What are we looking for? Strong knowledge of fine wine, ideally with WSET Level 3 qualification or equivalent. Proven sales ability. Excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. Strong spoken and written English. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Professional appearance and a positive, proactive attitude.
