Job Summary
The Retail Performance Manager, Analytics and Operations Focus, is responsible for driving Retail Excellence through rigorous data analysis and actionable insights. This role will analyze sales, operational, and customer data to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges, providing strategic recommendations to optimize retail performance, enhance customer experience, and achieve business objectives across our retail network.
The experience in both Retail and Operations is key to structure and improve processes and support improved processes in operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Performance Analytics & Reporting: Develop, implement, and maintain advanced retail performance dashboards and reports, encompassing sales, traffic, conversion, UPT, ATV, inventory health, and operational KPIs. Conduct in-depth analysis of retail data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement in sales, profitability, and operational efficiency. Utilize statistical modeling and predictive analytics to forecast retail performance and evaluate the impact of strategic initiatives.
- Operational Strategy & Optimization: Design, develop, and implement operational best practices and standard operating procedures to enhance store efficiency and consistency. Support the rollout and adoption of new retail technologies and tools, ensuring seamless integration and effective utilization by store teams (e.g. Timesquare)
- Strategic Recommendations & Implementation: Translate analytical findings and operational assessments into clear, actionable recommendations for retail leadership and store teams. Lead or support the implementation of pilot programs (Polaris) for new operational initiatives or analytical tools, measuring impact and scaling successful approaches. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., IT, Supply Chain, Training, Marketing) to ensure alignment and successful execution of retail strategies.
- Stakeholder Management & Training: Act as a subject matter expert for both retail analytics and operational procedures, providing guidance and support to regional and store management. Develop training materials and conduct sessions on new operational processes, tools, and analytical insights to foster a data-driven culture.
Required Skills
Analytical Prowess: Strong ability to analyze complex data sets, identify root causes, and derive strategic insights. Operational Acumen: Deep understanding of retail operational processes, challenges, and best practices across various store functions. Technical Proficiency: Advanced proficiency in LV platform for data extraction and manipulation.
Expertise in BI and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI). Proficient in Excel for data analysis and modeling. Familiarity with retail management systems (e.g., Xstore) and operational planning tools. Project & Change Management: Proven ability to manage complex projects from inception to completion, including change management in a retail environment.
Communication & Influence: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting complex information and influencing stakeholders at all levels. Problem-Solving: Proactive, solutions-oriented mindset with a strong attention to detail.
