JOB TITLE : Substitute Paraprofessional STATUS : Non-Exempt REPORTS TO : Principal and Human Resources TERMS : 185 Day (as needed) PAY GRADE : $10.00/Hour Primary Purpose: Responsible for fulfilling the duties of the absent aide.

Qualifications

Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED required Special Knowledge/Skills: Fluent in English (written and spoken) Ability to operate office equipment including computers for clerks Ability to work effectively with people Experience: Working with diverse groups Major Responsibilities and Duties : Work with all children Assist in maintaining a safe environment conducive to learning Answer incoming calls, take reliable messages and/or route to appropriate staff Sort, distribute, or deliver mail and other documents Operate office and classroom equipment including computers Perform other related duties as assigned Working Conditions: Mental Demands Maintain emotion control under stress; work with frequent interruptions Physical Demands/Environmental Factors Frequent standing, stooping, bending, pulling and pushing; moving small stacks of textbooks, media equipment, desk and other classroom equipment Application Procedure: Apply online Selection Procedure:
