Role Description The Real Estate Specialist role is a full-time, hybrid position based in South Burlington, VT, with some flexibility for work-from-home arrangements. This role involves guiding clients through the purchase, sale, and leasing of residential and commercial properties, including conducting property showings, market analyses, and comparative pricing evaluations.
The Real Estate Specialist will manage client relationships from initial consultation through closing, prepare and review contracts and related documentation, and collaborate with lenders, inspectors, attorneys, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth transactions. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining up-to-date knowledge of local market trends, leveraging digital tools and company resources for marketing listings, and participating in team meetings, trainings, and community networking activities.
Qualifications
Real Estate and Real Property knowledge, including familiarity with Vermont real estate laws, contracts, and local market conditions. Customer Service skills, with a focus on building trust, managing client expectations, and providing responsive, professional support. Sales and Real Estate Development skills, including lead generation, negotiation, and understanding property improvement or investment potential.
Active or eligible Vermont real estate license and willingness to meet ongoing licensing and continuing education requirements. Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation abilities, both in-person and via phone, email, and digital platforms. Comfort using real estate CRM systems, listing platforms, and standard office software to manage client data and marketing activities.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage time effectively, and travel locally for client meetings and property visits. Prior real estate experience or related background in sales, finance, or customer-facing roles is highly beneficial.
