Digital Marketing Executive

We are seeking an enthusiastic Digital Marketing Executive to join our Marketing team at Stockport County. In this role, you will help deliver the club's digital marketing activity, with responsibility for website and app content, paid media and email marketing. You will ensure our digital channels provide supporters with accurate, engaging and relevant content, while supporting campaigns that grow our audience, strengthen fan engagement and drive ticket sales and other commercial revenue.

Working closely with colleagues across the club, you will use data and campaign insights to improve performance, identify opportunities and continually enhance the supporter experience.

Essential Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create compelling and engaging content in line with the Stockport County brand

• Experience in digital marketing with a focus on website management and email marketing
• Experience in managing paid media campaigns across various platforms (e.g. Google Ads, Facebook Ads).
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Appetite to learn, develop new skills and stay up-to-date with the latest digital marketing trends and best practices. Desirable
• Experience using website content management systems (CMS)
• Experience with analytics tools, such as Google Analytics, and the ability to interpret data and recommend improvements.
• Experience with email marketing platforms and audience segmentation.
• An interest in football and an understanding of the sports industry.
