Ruby on rails developer

This is a remote position. Competencies we expect from you: 3+ years of experience as a Ruby on Rails developer Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby Skills for writing reusable Ruby libraries that may be used in expressive ways Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful Experience with popular web application frameworks (Rails, Sinatra) Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes Familiarity with continuous integration.

The position is 100% remote from home, using your own equipment and software. Your hours will be Monday-Friday, 9:00 A.M. - 6:00 P.M. As a Ruby Developer we expect you to play the others following roles: Analyze development requirements. Responsible for estimation of time of development task and documentation Report daily progress of tasks to the team lead.

Develop software components (Business, user interface) Perform unit tests for all developed components. Participate in deployment meetings. Intermediate to advanced English level. Strong communication skills, teamwork, attention to detail, and goal orientation.
