As the Medical Records Specialist , you’ll ensure accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance across our clinical records, supporting care teams and making a meaningful impact behind the scenes.

Your Impact Manage daily clinical records operations and oversee the clinical records process.

Ensure compliance with state, federal, and regulatory requirements. Safeguard patient confidentiality through secure record controls and monitoring. Conduct post‑discharge administrative record audits and escalate issues appropriately. Track and follow up on unsigned physician orders to ensure timely compliance. Maintain and support the clinical records information system, including upgrades.

Provide backup support to intake and front office teams as needed. Assist with authorized record requests and general administrative duties.

Requirements

At least 1 year of experience in clinical records management (home health or hospice preferred). Working knowledge of healthcare regulations and information systems. Excellent organizational, communication, and follow‑through skills. Ability to work independently while supporting a collaborative team. Professional discretion and commitment to confidentiality.
