JOB SUMMARY
The Roustabout is primarily responsible for loading and offloading boats, equipment, and preparing drilling sires for operation by keeping decks/yards cleans and assisting the crane operator with loads[AW1] .
RESPONSIBILITIES
Demonstrates core values and safety standards according to the H&P way Prepares locations for drilling, which includes the building of fences, pouring of concrete slabs, and digging ditches Cleans and straightens yard area Cleans, stores, and organizes equipment, materials, and supplies Selects cranes and slings to move pipes and other materials to be transferred to “V” door Operates hydraulic pumps or jacks to support and level pulling machines and derricks Up to date on current Work.
Day trainings as assigned KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES : . Must be a team player Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated commitment to H&P’s Health, Safety, and Environmental standards and C.A.R.E. processes (COACH people-based safety, Compass Cards, Life. Belts, JSAs, hotwork, confined space entry, lock-out/tag-out, dropped object prevention, etc.)
