Medical office coordinator

We are seeking a dedicated Medical Office Coordinator to join our team at University Home Care Inc in Livonia, MI. The ideal candidate will have at least three years of experience working in a fast-paced office environment. This role requires the ability to multitask efficiently, a solid understanding of insurance verification and eligibility, and a willingness to take on new challenges. You will play a key role in sending out contracts and assisting with the placement of beds at long-term care facilities. Flexibility and a proactive attitude are essential, as you will be expected to wear many hats and support various administrative functions within our organization.

## Responsibilities

- Verify insurance eligibility and navigate insurance verification processes accurately.

- Send out contracts and coordinate with relevant parties to facilitate timely agreement execution.

- Assist in securing beds at long-term care facilities by coordinating with healthcare providers and facilities.

- Handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

- Support other administrative duties as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
