Position Summary

We are seeking a skilled, patient-focused Medical Aesthetician to join our growing dermatology practice. The Medical Aesthetician will provide advanced skincare treatments, educate patients on medical-grade skincare products, support cosmetic procedures, and help drive cosmetic service and retail product revenue. This role is ideal for a highly motivated professional who is passionate about skin health, aesthetic treatments, patient education, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks: Schedule patient appointments for cosmetic services and consultations Be available for patient consultation at request of physician Perform cosmetic procedures as directed by physician Room patients, thoroughly explain treatment, expected results and potential risks, obtain patient signature on appropriate consents Educate patients about our services and skincare products Assist patients in skincare products selection Follow up with patients after treatment Document patient and treatment information Maintain work area in a clean and orderly condition Wash and sterilize supplies, instruments and equipment daily Set up, clean and disinfect aesthetician room daily Order cosmetic supplies and products through approved vendors Responsible for maintaining inventory and ordering of products and samples Responsible for maintaining equipment Other duties as assigned.

Product Education & Sales Recommend medical-grade skincare products based on patient needs and treatment goals. Educate patients regarding skincare regimens, treatment expectations, and maintenance plans. Promote retail skincare products and cosmetic service packages. Follow up with patients to encourage treatment adherence and ongoing skincare maintenance.

Meet or exceed established retail sales and treatment revenue goals. Patient Experience Build strong patient relationships through exceptional service and follow-up care. Address patient concerns professionally and compassionately. Ensure a positive, welcoming environment that promotes patient satisfaction and retention.

Clinic Operations Prepare treatment rooms and maintain cleanliness according to infection control standards. Sterilize equipment and maintain treatment supplies. Monitor inventory and communicate product and supply needs. Support clinic marketing initiatives, events, and promotional campaigns when needed. Stay current on industry trends, skincare technologies, and aesthetic treatments Qualifications: Qualifications Education: Current Aesthetician or Esthetician License in the applicable state.

Required: Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a medical spa, plastic surgery, dermatology, or cosmetic practice. Knowledge of skincare products, skin conditions, and aesthetic treatments. Strong sales and customer service skills. Excellent verbal and written communication abilities. Proficiency with EMR systems and basic computer applications.

Experience with microdermabrasion and chemical peels Computer literate Preferred: Experience in a dermatology clinic or cosmetic dermatology practice. Advanced certifications in chemical peels, microneedling, laser treatments, or Hydrafacial. Proven track record of meeting retail sales and service revenue goals. Experience utilizing social media to educate patients and promote services.

Bilingual skills are a plus.
