CDL Class A - Flatbed Driver- Local

JOB DESCRIPTION:

1. Maintain truck and trailers with DOT Inspections
2. Communicate with dispatch
3. Safely pick-up and drop off freight to yards or customers on time
4. Maintain a clean safety record
5. Follow city and state laws / ordinance
6. Follow Company policies and procedures
7. Follow FMCSR guidelines
8. Maintain current electronic logs at all times
9. Maintain hiring qualifications during employment
10. Report defects to maintenance POD LOGISTICS IS HIRING FOR COMPANY FLATBED DRIVERS We are expanding our network past intermodal freight and gaining new amazing customers that need all trailer types. Van / Reefer , Flatbed / Step-deck and even tanker. If you have at least 1 year of experience with each of these trailer types (with a total of 2 years), then join us today. JOB REQUIREMENTS:
11. Valid class A CDL
12. Valid medical card 3. 23 years of age or older
13. Read, write and speak English
14. Min of 2 years' experience with similar equipment. Combination of 12 months intermodal - or/and 12 months van / reefer -or/and 12 months flatbed /step-deck
15. Hazmat Endorsement preferred but not required
16. Background checks and negative drug test are mandatory for employment
17. No DUI's, Felony driving convictions, SAPP in the last 5 years
18. A Maximum of 3 minor violations or combination of 1 major violation and 1 minor violation in the last 36 months and able to maintain these qualifications during employment
19. Compliant with electronic logs system- Samsara
20. Maintain at least 90% on time deliveries
21. Technology savvy and capable of using software apps for communication and proof of delivery
22. Pass a road test and two days of on the road training
23. Available to work variety of shifts
24. Able to work in all weather conditions
25. Secure loads by zip-ties / straps/ tarps / liners when needed.
