Supply Chain Coordinator
Job description
Position Summary
The Supply Chain Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for all customers of the Metal Stamping plant and is responsible for coordinating customer requirements from order receipt through shipment. This position manages customer orders, releases, part requirements, shipping information, and inventory levels while maintaining clear and proactive communication with both customers and internal plant teams.
The Supply Chain Coordinator works closely with Production, Scheduling, Materials, Shipping, Quality, Sales, and other functions to ensure customer requirements are understood, communicated, and fulfilled on time. The successful candidate will have strong organizational and communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
Serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for all customers regarding orders, releases, part requirements, inventory, shipping schedules, and delivery status. Develop strong working relationships with customer purchasing, materials, logistics, and supply chain personnel. Respond promptly and professionally to customer questions, requests, and concerns.
Proactively communicate potential supply, inventory, production, or shipping issues that may affect customer requirements. Work closely with Production Planning and Operations to align production schedules with customer requirements. Participate in production, scheduling, inventory, and customer-status meetings as required.
The Supply Chain Coordinator is expected to maintain a high level of customer service by: Providing customers with timely and accurate information. Taking ownership of customer requests through resolution. Anticipating potential delivery or inventory problems before they become customer disruptions.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related discipline or equivalent work experience. 2+ years of experience in a supply chain role 1+ years of experience in a metal stamping, automotive, appliance, industrial manufacturing, or high-volume manufacturing environment.
Experience working with ERP/MRP systems. Experience with customer EDI systems and customer supplier portals. Strong computer skills, specifically excel, is required Additional Information: Position is required to be 100% onsite at the Mason, OH location No relocation is available #iceindustries #LI-KN1
