Investigate claims and assess liability.

Evaluate supporting documentation and evidence. Negotiate settlements and issue claim decisions when instructed. Maintain claim files and monitor limitation periods. Pursue recovery actions against subcontractors. Coordinate with insurers and external lawyers when instructed. Work closely with Operations, Customer Service, Sales, and Finance.

Record and maintain claim data in the Claims Management System (CMS). Support trend analysis and root cause analysis of claims. Bachelor's degree, preferably in Law, Logistics, or a related field. Knowledge of EU law, maritime and transport law, transport conventions, and transport insurance law is preferred. Claims handling and liability assessment.

Contract interpretation and legal analysis. Negotiation and risk assessment. Data analysis and Microsoft Office proficiency. Strong communication, stakeholder management, and customer focus. Attention to detail, problem-solving, and time management skills.
