Job Summary

Responsible for designing, delivering, and continuously improving technical training programs for manufacturing personnel. This includes conducting skills assessments, facilitating operator-level technical trainings, and collaborating with various departments to ensure competency alignment with operational needs. The role directly contributes to the upskilling and certification of technical staff, such as machine operators, technicians, and maintenance personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Technical Training Design and Facilitation Develop and deliver training modules focused on machine operations, equipment maintenance, production quality standards, and safety procedures. Facilitate classroom, hands-on, and on-the-job training (OJT) sessions for production and technical employees. Customize training materials based on machine specifications, process updates, and equipment manuals.
  2. Skills Assessment and Competency Development Conduct skills assessments to evaluate the technical competencies of operators and technicians. Work closely with line supervisors and the HR team to develop individual training and upskilling plans based on assessment results. Support the implementation and documentation of skills certification programs.
  3. Training Program Implementation and Evaluation Maintain training calendars, participant records, and course materials. Evaluate training effectiveness through tests, assessments, and post-training evaluations. Recommend improvements in training delivery and curriculum based on feedback and production performance trends.
  4. Cross-Functional Collaboration Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality Control, and Maintenance departments to ensure technical training content is aligned with operational standards. Participate in technical audits and use insights to update training materials or develop new ones.
  5. Documentation and Compliance Ensure proper documentation of training attendance, assessment results, and certification status. Maintain accurate and updated technical training records in coordination with the L&D Coordinator. Ensure that technical training programs comply with company standards and applicable regulatory or safety guidelines.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related technical field. At least 2–3 years of experience in training or operations in a manufacturing or technical environment. Familiarity with production processes, machine operations, and quality standards in a plant setting. Excellent facilitation, instructional design, and communication skills.

Proficient in MS Office; knowledge in e-learning tools is an advantage. Preferably trained or certified in technical facilitation, TESDA standards, or skills assessment methodologies. "Motolite offers you not just a job, but a career with boundless opportunities"
