Job Title: Graduate Student Research Assistant (AI Design & Research) AY26/27 Department: Interactive Media and Design Student Employment Type: Graduate Assistant Hourly Responsibilities: Research Support: Assist the Principal Investigators with academic research related to the grant, literature reviews, and compiling data on AI in higher education and design.

Event Branding & Graphics: Lead the visual identity for AI Day. Design digital and print assets including posters, digital display boards, schedules, and presentation templates. Social Media & Promotion: Develop and execute a social media campaign to drive student registration and engagement for AI Day across university channels.

Event Execution: Assist in coordinating morning speaker logistics and facilitating the afternoon student design sprints alongside the investigators.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled graduate student, preferably within the School of Communications or a related discipline. Demonstrated interest in academic research and the intersection of artificial intelligence, media, and design. Strong graphic design skills (proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud or similar industry-standard tools).

Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple project timelines.
