Job description
Company : Sime Darby (Thailand) Company Limited Key Responsibilities: Compliance and Regulatory Oversight: Ensure compliance with local and international EHS regulations and standards. Monitor updates to regulations and adapt company policies accordingly. Risk Assessment and Mitigation: Conduct regular risk assessments to identify potential hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
Workplace Safety: Oversee workplace safety initiatives and ensure adherence to safe work practices. Training and Awareness: Organize training sessions to educate employees on safety protocols and emergency procedures. Incident Investigation and Reporting: Investigate workplace accidents and prepare detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
Environmental Management: Manage the company’s environmental impact through waste reduction, energy conservation, and emissions control. Emergency Preparedness and Response: Create and manage emergency response plans and conduct regular drills. Audits and Inspections: Conduct regular internal audits and inspections to ensure compliance with EHS policies.
Contractor and Supplier Management: Ensure contractors and suppliers comply with EHS policies and regulations. Sustainability and Continuous Improvement: Promote sustainability initiatives and continuously improve EHS practices. Reporting and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of incidents, inspections, and compliance efforts.
Leadership and Collaboration: Collaborate with management and departments to integrate EHS practices into operations.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in EHS management within the automotive or manufacturing industry. In-depth knowledge of EHS regulations and standards. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Certifications in EHS (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are preferred. has context menu has context menu
