• Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center, Annapolis, Maryland We have a PRN opportunity for a BE/BC Internal Medicine Nocturnist Physician to join our well-established Hospital Medicine service at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, Maryland. Our hospitalist team provides inpatient internal medicine care within the hospital setting, including admitting patients, performing physical exams, ordering tests, diagnosing, performing hospital rounds and planning for discharge. Follow all established policies for maintenance and signing of medical records. Contribute to the achievement of department goals and adhere to policies, procedures, and quality and safety standards. Submit accurate and timely charges for all professional services performed ABOUT THE ROLE Full-service hospitalist practice at Luminis Health Anne Arundel Medical Center (LHAAMC) AAMC has achieved a second Magnet Designation awarded by the ANCC University hospital with excellent specialty support Average 15 patients/day Closed ICU, our team is not expected to perform procedures or run codes Staffing Model: 23 providers; 12 physicians/11 APPs EMR: EPIC Beds 423 Board certified/eligible in internal or family medicine Responsibilities include rounds, admissions, discharges, and daily multidisciplinary rounds, geographic rounds, participant in rapid response and code team. Swing shift rotation covers admissions and new consults during the day.
