Public Relations/Development Intern

Internship Summary: This position involves supporting the C+FS PR and Development team on Public Relations projects. Major Responsibilities/Activities May Include but are not limited to: Writing: Press Releases Media Advisories Articles for C+FS website Articles for C+FS Intranet Graphic Design: Flyers Banners Brochures Social Media Communications: Internal and external messaging Pitching story ideas for the media Development: Assist Development Team with donor prospecting Utilize Fundraising Software, Raiser's Edge to help manage donor portfolios Help accept donations in support of the Development team receiving in-kind gifts to help facilitate building donor relationships Assist the Development team with event organization, meeting preparation and donation drives as needed.

Education

In an undergraduate or graduate program with a focus in Communications, Public Relations, or Marketing. Enrollment in a credit bearing program. Schedule: Flexible scheduling but must be able to work at the office location during work hours. This is an unpaid internship for college credit.
