Quantity Surveyor (Civil) (Malaysia Hiring)

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the administration of main contracts and subcontracts• Responsible for budget management, cost estimation and cost control supervision• Manage contracts and agreements with project team to ensure project goals and budgets, alignment with subcontractors and suppliers• Prepare material procurement and subcontracting schedules and supervise progress• Prepare reports, including budget reports, cost reports, material procurement and subcontracting progress reports, and payment reports (including interim payments and variation claims)• Coordinate with other relevant parties, such as clients, consulting engineers, site teams, subcontractors, etc., to ensure the construction projects proceed smoothly and on schedule Requirements:
• Degree in Surveying, Quantity Surveying, or equivalent• Minimum 5 years relevant QS work experience in Civil projects in main contractors• Experience in managing the full process of a large-scale project• With NEC Contract experience is an advantage• Professional membership or certification (e.g., MHKIS, MRICS, RPS) is preferred• Experience in Hong Kong projects preferred• Strong analytical, problem-solving and presentation skills• Proficiency in both written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese) Apply now
