Posting Title: Urologist Industry: Hospital Salary: ₹ 350,000 to ₹ 500,000 per month Work Experience: 1+ year --- ### Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans for patients with urological disorders.
  • Conduct a full range of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, including cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, TURP, and prostate biopsy.
  • Execute complex surgical interventions such as prostatectomy, nephrectomy, cystectomy, pyeloplasty, and renal transplantation.
  • Perform advanced reconstructive and corrective surgeries including bladder augmentation, urinary diversion surgery, bladder suspension surgery, and urethral stricture repair.
  • Provide expertise in male reproductive health, including penile prosthesis implantation and vasectomy/vasectomy reversal procedures.
  • Lead and participate in the management of kidney stone disease through lithotripsy and endoscopic stone removal.
  • Manage patients requiring artificial urinary sphincter insertion and orchiectomy for oncological or functional indications.
  • Collaborate with transplant teams in pre- and post-operative care for renal transplant recipients.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant medical records and documentation in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
  • Engage in ongoing medical education, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Mentor junior medical staff, residents, and medical students in clinical and surgical techniques. --- ### Requirements
  • MBBS degree with postgraduate qualification in Urology (MS in Urology or DNB in Urology).
  • Minimum of 1 year of post-qualification clinical experience in a hospital or specialized urology center.

  • Strong understanding of urological oncology, reconstructive urology, and male infertility management.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and patient counseling skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Valid registration with the Medical Council of India (or equivalent) and any additional certifications required by the hospital.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rotations and emergency surgical duties.
