Phlebotomist - 24 hrs - 6am-2:30pm

Employment Type: Part time Shift: Day Shift Description: Saint Francis Hospital & Medical Center, Lab Hartford CT You would be responsible to obtain blood specimens, to process laboratory specimens for clinical analysis and to provide patient information to the appropriate care giver. Your work is vital to the diagnosis, treatment and care of patients.

What will you do: Properly identifies patient per policy and performs venipuncture using standard/butterfly methods Labels all specimens following laboratory policy Receives/cancels/orders and processes laboratory/microbiology specimens Work Hours/Shift: 24hrs, Day Shift (6am-2:30pm), e/o wknd, rotating holidays, occasionally will have to work in processing, Mt Sinai Hospital and Cancer Center.

Requirements
