The Patient Access Rep II is an advanced role responsible for complex account resolution through work queue management and supports leadership in process improvement efforts across the revenue cycle. As a Patient Access Representative II, a typical day#might include:# Responsible for coordinating and facilitating registration and admissions by obtaining pertinent demographic information, collecting accurate insurance information authorizations to financially clear outpatient hospital accounts The ideal candidate must be detail oriented and promote patient satisfaction Service orientated background, good written and verbal communication skills and accurate typing ability Demonstrates initiative and motivation in role; proactively identifies and resolves problems in an appropriate manner and escalates issues to leadership when necessary Reflects commitment to building a supportive work environment and maintains a positive attitude Works closely and professionally with nursing and ancillary departments to foster a team environment Participate in training through the development of training tools, presentations at department in-services or staff meetings, or through the training of registration staff outside the patient access department This role might be for you if:# You thrive in a fast-paced environment.
