Food Service Worker (Part-time)

Food Service Worker (Server/Dishwasher/Cashier) Detroit Lakes Public Schools Food & Nutrition Services (FNS) is seeking a Part-time Food Service Worker. Come be a part of something meaningful�helping provide nutritious meals and a welcoming experience for our students. Summary: Performs a variety of FNS duties according to department requirements, including but not limited to; preparation, serving, dishwashing, cashiering and clean-up.

Minimum Qualifications

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent Experience: Previous Related Experience in high volume food service Special Knowledge, Skills, Certifications, Licensure Required:

1. Knowledge of materials and methods used in food preparation.
2. Knowledge of care and use of cooking utensils and equipment.
3. Customer Service Skills
4. Be able to Multitask
5. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
6. Ability to follow oral and written instructions
7. Ability to organize duties and utilize time management skills.
8. Be dependable Additional Preferred Qualifications:
9. Computer Knowledge
10. Ability to understand nutrient information
11. Previous Related Experience in school food service
12. Food Handler Certification Schedule: 10:00 am - 1:30 pm (Monday
