Maintenance Technician II

Maintenance Technician — $23.00 to $27.00 an hour, Full-Time Days, at Lutheran Home, a senior living community in Arlington Heights, IL. Lutheran Home is a nonprofit senior living campus with independent living, assisted living, memory care, and skilled nursing all on one campus. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll keep the buildings, grounds, and equipment running so residents and staff have a safe, comfortable place to live and work.

What You'll Do

Repair and maintain electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical systems across the campus Complete preventive maintenance and routine inspections Troubleshoot and fix issues in resident apartments and common areas Respond to maintenance requests and emergency repairs, including during your on-call rotation Keep accurate records of work orders and completed repairs Maintain grounds and building systems to support daily operations What You'll Need Required At least 1 year of maintenance or building services experience Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull equipment and supplies as the job requires Preferred High school diploma or equivalent Experience in healthcare, senior living, or commercial facilities Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems Valid driver's license Pay and Benefits $23.
