Girls Basketball, A Team Coach

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION: Under the supervision of the High School Athletic Director the Middle School Girls Basketball Team A Coach will instruct student athletes in the fundamental skills, strategy and physical training necessary for them to realize a degree of individual and team success. This position will also instruct and demonstrate behaviors that lead to strong character development, self discipline, self confidence, and pride of accomplishment in the student athletes.

This position develops practice plans and leads practices and games, in addition to providing adult supervision for bus transportation to and from away meets. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Demonstrated ability to foster meaningful relationships with young adolescents, strong leadership skills and dynamic presence. EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE: High School or college Basketball participation and/or coaching experience is preferred.

Knowledge of first aid and CPR required. District will provide training. SCHEDULE: Fall/Winter Season 2026 - 2027 STIPEND: $2,600.00 for the season.
