We are seeking a patient, dependable caregiver with experience supporting adults with mental health needs, including mental health care. The ideal candidate will communicate calmly, maintain professional boundaries, and provide respectful, consistent support.

Responsibilities

Assist with light housekeeping and maintaining a more organized living space. Prepare meals. Run errands and assist with shopping. Transport the client to stores and medical appointments. Provide supportive companionship while respecting the client’s independence. About the Client The client lives alone and is fully mobile.

They experience significant mentel health concerns and may express their concerns or opinions strongly. No history of aggressive behavior has been reported. This position requires someone who can remain composed during difficult conversations and respond with patience and understanding. Home Environment: Heavy indoor smoking.

One friendly dog Husky. A messy, cluttered home that will require light housekeeping support. No known infestations.

Qualifications

Prior experience supporting individuals with mental health conditions and behavioral challenges. Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a calm, professional approach. Comfortable working in a home with heavy smoke exposure and a large dog. Able to provide transportation for errands and appointments; a valid driver’s license and appropriate vehicle insurance are required.

The ideal candidate is someone who stays engaged, takes initiative, and is comfortable maintaining an active work pace throughout their shift.
