Job description

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR At Choate, marketing is more than a department – it’s a creative, collaborative team with a shared mission to inspire growth through strategy, innovation, and excellence. And because Choate is employee-owned, this is more than a job. It’s a career worth building at a company worth owning. We’re looking for a detail-oriented, positive, and highly collaborative Marketing Coordinator to support our Raleigh office.

Contributing to the team in a variety of ways is what gets you up in the morning – no routine days for you! You’ll work alongside project executives and business development leaders to pursue exciting new work, coordinating everything from sales packages to proposals and presentations to interviews, events, and social media.

The role also helps bring Choate’s work to life by working with project teams to capture project milestones, team insights, and the stories behind what we build. And you won’t be doing it alone. You’ll work with fellow marketing and creative services staff across the company to share ideas and innovate processes, collaboratively elevating the marketing services our team provides.

The right person is curious, adaptable, and comfortable working with different personalities and priorities. You communicate clearly, lead with empathy, and aren’t afraid to ask thoughtful questions or offer a fresh perspective. If you have multiple thoughts of “That’s me!” then we can’t wait for you to meet our dedicated group of employee-owners!

YOU COULD BE THE NEXT CHOATE MARKETING COORDINATOR IF… You produced qualification packages, proposals, presentations, leave-behinds, and other marketing collateral that supported client development efforts and increased brand awareness. You managed and prioritized an extensive portfolio of projects, tracking site milestones, photography needs, and content opportunities to support active pursuits and marketing initiatives.

You coordinated all aspects of project photography, including shot list development, photographer management, scheduling, and billing, ensuring high-quality visual assets were delivered on time. You reviewed, edited, organized, and maintained progress and final photography within a digital asset management system, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and consistency across project records.

You leveraged AI tools to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and introduce innovative solutions that enhanced marketing and content development processes. You aligned marketing deliverables with company strategy, balancing priorities, timelines, and deadlines while ensuring compliance with branding standards, style guides, and best practices.

You increased brand visibility by creating content for social media and internal communications, supporting events and community outreach efforts, coordinating award submissions, and fostering strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. You utilized your A/E/C industry expertise, strong writing and communication skills, proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, PowerPoint, Excel, and CRM platforms, and exceptional organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver high-quality results.
