Entry Level Water Damage Helper

About the Role

Certified Restoration Inc is looking for a motivated Entry Level Water Damage Helper to join our growing team in San Diego, CA! This is a fantastic opportunity to break into the restoration industry, learn hands-on skills, and build a rewarding career helping people recover from property damage. No experience? No problem — we'll train you!

What you'll do

• Assist technicians on residential and commercial water damage jobs
• Extract standing water and remove wet drywall, flooring, and insulation
• Set up, monitor, and remove drying equipment such as air movers and dehumidifiers
• Move and protect furniture and belongings
• Keep job sites, vehicles, and equipment clean and organized
• Treat customers with care and respect during stressful situations What we're looking for
• A strong work ethic and a positive attitude
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work on your feet all day
• Comfort working in tight spaces like crawlspaces and attics, and in wet or dirty conditions
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to the shop
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen after a conditional offer of employment
• Availability for occasional evening, weekend, or on-call emergency work What we offer
