Key Responsibilities

Conduct stormwater and NPDES inspections on construction sites Collaborate with site personnel to ensure compliance with environmental regulations Document findings and provide recommendations using HB NEXT’s proprietary software Travel to various job sites across the region Requirements: National or NC Erosion Certification (or equivalent), Charlotte-Mecklenburg certification or the ability to obtain within 60 days (training available through HB NEXT) Prior construction or field inspection experience highly preferred Reliable personal transportation Strong communication skills and a self-starter mindset Benefits: Salary: $35,000 – $42,000 (commensurate with experience) Full-time or part-time opportunities Flexible work hours Vehicle reimbursement (fixed rate + mileage) Paid vacation and holidays Health insurance 401(k) with company match On-the-job training (including OSHA, CPR/First Aid certification) Opportunities for professional growth and career advancement Work Environment: This is a field-based role with most work performed outdoors on active construction sites.
