Location: Bend Compensation: $28.03/hour (plus $0.50/hour for bilingual Spanish) Hours: Regular full-time (40 hours/week) Benefits: 100% premium paid Medical, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance, Agency paid Retirement plan (up to 6%), almost 2 weeks of vacation time accrued in your first year, plus 14 paid Holidays annually, and separate sick leave accrual Deadline: Open until filled Neighbor.

Impact Housing Overview Neighbor. Impact's Housing program offers crucial assistance to individuals and families in need within Crook, Deschutes, and Jefferson counties, as well as the Confederated Tribes of Warm Springs. The program can provide eviction prevention and deposit assistance, prioritizing applications based on need rather than a first-come, first-served basis.

The Housing Advocate role involves providing personalized case management and support to clients, ensuring their self-sufficiency and stable housing.

Key responsibilities include

compassionately and professionally conducting screenings and assessments to determine program eligibility, connecting clients with community resources, and advocating for housing opportunities. Additionally, the Housing Advocate maintains precise client documentation and collaborates closely with the Client Services Manager to facilitate client success.

Requirements

Required Associate’s degree in social work, human services, or related field required One year of experience in case management or related services required, can include employment, internships, and long-term volunteer position Ability to travel throughout the tri-county area regularly, even in inclement weather, using personal vehicle required Required prior to date of hire and throughout employment: Valid driver’s license Proof of current auto insurance Access to reliable transportation Satisfactory criminal background check Satisfactory motor vehicle records check Required within 90 days of hire: Complete the Bloodborne Pathogens and Naloxone Training within 90 days First Aid/CPR/AED certification Satisfactory ORCHARDs background check completed post hire Preferred Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or related field preferred Professional experience in the field, or a related field, preferred English/Spanish bilingual preferred
