ASL Interpreters - In Person

ASL Interpreters needed for California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) facilities. Location: California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) facilities. Multiple location throughout California— Medium : In-person assignments Pay: $70 per hour Schedule: As-needed assignments; daytime, evening, weekend, and emergency availability sought.

Requirements

• Current Registry of Interpreters for the Deaf (RID) and/or National Association of the Deaf (NAD) certification, or an accepted California DOR Support Services Assistant Interpreter certification.
• Ability to interpret accurately between spoken English and ASL in medical, educational, legal, and other settings. Certification: Current RID and/or NAD interpreter certification required; accepted California DOR interpreter credentials also considered.
